Georgetown: Loye Virginia Barrett Davis died Friday, December 5, 2008, at Prince George Healthcare Center. Mrs. Davis was born in Cumming, Ga., a daughter of the late Arthur Jarrell Barrett and Alice Martin Barrett. She grew up in Cumming and moved to Georgetown in 1939. Mrs. Davis was the widow of James Harold Davis. Surviving are: two sons, Ronald (Joyce) Davis of Atlanta, Ga. and Bennie (Laura) Davis of Jacksonville, Fla. two daughters, Robbie D. (Wil) Roberts of Alexandria, Va. and Cheryl D. (Billy) Bellune of Georgetown; a sister, Lalla Patterson of Alpharetta, Ga.; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, December 8, 2008 at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Ga. Officiating will be the Rev. Frank Whitmire.
