Georgetown: Lucile "Cile" Wharton Nelson Coleman, 79, died Sunday, February 21, 2010, in Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Coleman was born in Tampa, Fla. on August 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Sydney Nelson and Ida Lucile Wharton Nelson. She grew up in Lakeland, Fla. and Greenwood and was a graduate of Winthrop College. Mrs. Coleman lived in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. prior to moving to Georgetown five years ago. She was a communicant of Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Church. Surviving are: three sons, Clifton P. Coleman, III (Sandy) of Port St. Lucie, Fla., John S. Coleman of Englewood, Col., and Charlie Coleman of Georgetown; a sister, Mary Kilgore of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Clifton Coleman of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Ashley Coleman of Ocean Spring, Miss.
