Andrews:
Lucile Blakely Wilson, 86, died Friday morning, October 29, 2004, after an illness.
Mrs. Wilson was born in the Suttons Community of Williamsburg County on December 31, 1917, a daughter of the late Thomas ELeon Blakely and Margaret Ada Broach Blakely. She lived in this area all of her life and graduated from Williamsburg High School. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Andrews, where she was a former Trustee, a member of the Ed Hinson Sunday School Class, and the Evening Bible Study. She was the wife of the late Frank Lee Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was a loving and caring person and her family was first in her life.
Mrs. Wilson was a Georgetown County Magistrate for twenty-eight years and Chief Magistrate for ten years. She retired fourteen years ago. During her tenure as Magistrate, she was also the City Judge in Andrews for a number of years.
Surviving are: two daughters, Janice W. Cannon and her husband Larry and Jeanie W. Parsons and her husband Joey, both of Andrews; two granddaughters, Kimberly Cannon and Brandie Parsons, both of Andrews; a grandson, Frank Cannon and his wife Laurie of Columbia; two great-granddaughters, Blakelee Cannon and Katelynn Cannon, both of Columbia; a sister-in-law, Ila Mae Blakely of Andrews; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, October 31, 2004, at two o'clock in the First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp, the Rev. Robert Crawford, and the Rev. Dr. Steven M. Todd. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Saturday evening, October 30, 2004, from six until eight o'clock.
