McClellanville:
Lyda Griffin Graham, 91 died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Hospice of
Charleston Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Miss Graham was born in McClellanville on August 5, 1916, a daughter of the late Robert Edward Graham and Agnes Morrison Graham. She grew up in McClellanville and was a graduate of McClellanville High School. Miss Graham worked for a number of years with the News and Courier, now the Post & Courier, and retired as Vice-president of S.C. Federal Savings and Loan Assn. She was a member of McClellanville United Methodist Church and a former member of the church cemetery committee.
Surviving are: a brother, Dr. Robert E. Graham, Jr. of McClellanville; a sister, Frances G. Holson of Edgefield; three nephews, Robert E. Graham III and his wife, Constance G., Christopher D. Graham and his wife, Dr. Jessica L. Pepitone, and Robert L. Holson and his wife, Marlene J.; great nieces, Alison B.; Stephanie D., and Elisabeth C.; and two great nephews, Nicholas D. and Graham L.
Funeral services will be one o'clock Saturday, March 15, 2008, at McClellanville United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Jimmy Harper. Burial will follow in McClellanville United Methodist Cemetery.
