Maoma Sasser Bullock, 88, died Saturday, June 10, 2006, at the residence of her daughter in Upper Georgetown County.
Mrs. Bullock was born Mar 28, 1918 in Carbur, Fla. to Annie Morgan Sasser and James Andrew Sasser. She was married to the late Franklin Lennon Bullock, Sr. during WWII, and they made their home in Georgetown. Graduating from Cross City High School in Cross City, Fla., she later completed a course of study in business administration. In her earlier years, Mrs. Bullock worked as an administrative assistance to Mr. Harry Cotton at the International Paper Company. She was a homemaker for many years. Mrs. Bullock resided in Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown with a declining illness; however, she spent her last days with her children in the home on Bruorton Rd. in Upper Georgetown County. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Kensington, where she was an active member until her illness.
Surviving are three children, Martha Bullock Yarborough of Collegeville, Pa., Mary Bullock Miller of Hemingway, and Franklin Lennon Bullock, Jr. of Pawleys Island; eight grandchildren, Ann Altman O'Cain, Christia Larson Keim, Beth Larson, Amy Altman Von Culin, Staff Sgt. Herbert A. Larson, April Altman Pope, Petty Officer First Class Joseph F. Bullock, and Joshua L. Bullock; nine great grandchildren, Danny, Sarah, Dustin, Jacob, Drew, Joseph, Mary Beth, Jason, and Abby; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, June 12, 2006, at the Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Fred Ady. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
