Pawleys Island: Margaret W. Bradley, 96, widow of Sydney William Dennis Bradley, died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown. Mrs. Bradley was born in the United Kingdom on April 2, 1914, a daughter of the late Charles Ward and Winifred Bowles Ward. She grew up in England and moved to the U. S. in 1953. Mrs. Bradley was employed by the United Nations for a number of years. She moved to Pawleys Island in 2003 and was a member of Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church. She was the beloved mother of: a daughter, Jill B. Waring of Pawleys Island and a son, John M. Bradley (Adele) of Airmont, N. Y. Also surviving are: a brother, Donald Ward of the United Kingdom; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, March 24, 2011, at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Alex Barron.
