Isle of Palms:
Margaret Parmer Brown, 63, died Thursday, September 11, 2003, at her residence in Wild Dunes.
Mrs. Brown was born in Pocahontas, Ark. on August 21, 1940, a daughter of the late Grady Samuel "Jack" Parmer and Berniece Clara Johnson Parmer Brown. She grew up in Pocahontas and lived in Seymour, Ind. and Spartanburg before moving to the Isle of Palms. Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Richard Brown of the Isle of Palms; two daughters, Diane Roth and her husband Paul of Florence and Dr. Becky Eglen and her husband Jeff of the Isle of Palms; a son, Doug Brown and his wife Pennay of Murrells Inlet; two sisters, Jacqueline Jannello and her husband Mike of Branson, Mo. and Betty Patton and her husband Bob of Lake Ozark, Mo.; five grandchildren, Caleb Roth of Florence, Amanda and J.J. Eglen of the Isle of Palms, and Isabel and Nick Brown of Murrells Inlet.
Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a sister, Carline Allen.
Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, September 13, 2003, at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald E. Feuerbach.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 31 Beachwood West, Friday evening, September 12, 2003, from five until seven o'clock.
