They lived in Charleston, West Va. and Wilmington, Del. before moving to Montreal, Canada in 1954, where Dr. Forbes was an executive with DuPont of Canada. In 1974, they retired and moved to Pawleys Island, where they had spent vacations for most of their married life. In 1977, Dr. Forbes died, and five years later, in 1982, Mrs. Forbes married Alaxander McCalla Grant of Montreal. Throughout her life, Mrs. Grant was intensely interested in the arts.
