Moncks Corner: Margaret Whitfield Hane, 78, died Saturday, October 11, 2014, at White Oak Manor in Charleston. Ms. Hane was born in Georgetown on August 25, 1936, a daughter of the late Whitfield Watson Hane and Margaret Radcliffe Wragg Hane. She grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Ms. Hane was a retired employee of Westview Animal Hospital in Georgetown. She was an exceptional golfer, taught golf in Myrtle Beach, and was a member of the LPGA. Ms. Hane was also an avid boater and fisherman and hunted frequently with her father. She lived quietly in Moncks Corner during her later years.
