Georgetown: Margaret (Mary) Isaac Hierholzer, 92, passed away in Madison, FL surrounded by her loving family on January 6, 2014. Mrs. Hierholzer was born in Columbia, South Carolina as one of the first set of triplets in the state on January 10, 1921 to her parents; the late Isaac Elias Isaac and Mariam Raad Isaac. Mrs. Hierholzer was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Georgetown, South Carolina. Mrs. Hierholzer was an active member of her church; she was a member of the Catholic Woman's Club, the Altar Society and member of St. Mary's choir. Mrs. Hierholzer had many favorite things to do but her favorites were playing bridge, gardening, quilting, crocheting, singing and dancing: but of all these things; she loved being a mother and grandmother to her family. Mrs. Hierholzer is survived by two sons Gregory Isaac (I.E.) Hierholzer (Jackie) of Litchfield Beach, S.C. and Charles Fredrick Hierholzer (Ramona) of Pawley's Island, S.C. one daughter Mariam Stephens (Billy) of Madison, FL., eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Emil Gregory Hierholzer and a daughter Margaret Pamela Hierholzer Rogers. The Visitation and Rosary for Mrs. Hierholzer will be Friday January 10, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home; the Funeral Mass will be Saturday January 11, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church.
