Pawleys Island, S. C.: Margaret F. Jones, 86, wife of Dr. Robert O. Jones, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Lakes at Litchfield. Margaret was born in Charlotte, N. C., a daughter of the late E. Owen Fitzsimons and Joy Draper Fitzsimons. She later married George W. Brice, who also grew up on Sherwood Ave. in Charlotte. She was a graduate of The National Cathedral School in Washington, D.C. and attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia. The couple moved to Darien, Conn. in 1963. After George's death in 1987, Margaret moved to Pawleys Island and was a member of Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church and the Colonial Dames. In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by: a step-son, Mark Jones. Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-seven years of Pawleys Island are: two sons, George W. Brice of New York City, N.Y. and Owen F. Brice of Pawleys Island; a daughter Susanne B. Drennan of Charleston, S.C.; four step-children, Donna Jones, Nancy Lowe, Robby Jones, and Barbie Jones; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church at Pawleys Island. Officiating will be the Very Rev. William J. Keith.
