Georgetown: Margaret Anna Ackerson Keller, 88, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003, at Winyah Convalescent Center. Mrs. Keller was born in Le Roy, N. Y. on December 1, 1915, a daughter of the late Elmer Treese Ackerson and Elizabeth Anna Schwartz Ackerson. She co-managed Harts' Food Store in Victor, N. Y. for 24 years. Mrs. Keller moved to Calabash, N. C. in 1979 and to Georgetown in 1992, where she was a member of St. Cyprian's Catholic Church. She became a resident of Winyah Convalescent Center in December of 2002, due to failing health. Surviving are: a son, James G. Keller and his wife Marilyn of Georgetown; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four nieces; and one nephew. Mrs. Keller was predeceased by: her husband, Gerard William Keller; and a daughter, Shirley H. Keller Deats and her husband Donald. Services will be held in Palmyra, N. Y. at a later date.
