Obituary

Andrews: Margaret Foster Morris Pierson, 88, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Mrs. Pierson was born in Orangeburg, S.C. on March 25, 1917, a daughter of the late Arthur Gilliam and Grace O. Wilburn Foster. She grew up in Orangeburg and farmed with her family until she married William George Morris in 1940. Together they lived in Williamsburg and Georgetown Counties. Mrs. Pierson was a long time resident of Andrews and a member of the First Baptist Church of Andrews. Surviving are: two daughters, Emma M. Gibbons and her husband Tony and Janie M. Morris, all of Andrews; a son, William "Billy" Morris and his wife Diane of Florence; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In edition to her first husband, Mrs. Pierson was predeceased by her second husband, William Burgess Pierson. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 2005, at four o'clock at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp and the Rev. Billy Miles.
