Pawley's Island: Margaret Maloney Shortino, 91, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Shortino was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 10, 1913, a daughter of the late James Maloney and Mary Geraci Maloney. She grew up in Cincinnati and lived in Lancaster, Pa. and a number of other places prior to moving to Pawley's Island in 1984. Mrs. Shortino was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Surviving are: her husband, Frank A. Shortino of Pawley's Island; a son, Anthony James Shortino of Pawley's Island; a brother, Harry Maloney of Pawley's Island; a sister, Mabel M.
