Georgetown: Marian Rowell McCormac, 84, died Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McCormac was born in Trio on January 17, 1921, a daughter of the late William Thomas Rowell and Isla Rebecca Jeffords Rowell. She grew up in Trio, graduated from Williamsburg High School, and attended Columbia College. Mrs. McCormac worked at State Farm Insurance Co. in Georgetown with her late husband, John Kay McCormac, for over forty years. Mrs. McCormac was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a past president of Georgetown Garden Club and the Georgetown Council of Garden Clubs. Mrs. McCormac received many awards for her floral designs in local flower shows. She was also an avid bridge player, gardener, and loved to do needle point. Surviving are: two daughters, Kay M. Bonnoitt and her husband Hugh Esmond "Tez" Bonnoitt of Georgetown and Etta M. Siau of Columbia; two sisters, Martha R. Sarratt of Tampa, Fla. and Corinthia R. Truesdale of Kershaw; four grandchildren, Shannon Kay Siau of Charlotte, N. C., Patrick McClary Siau, Jr. and his wife Katie of Columbia, Hugh Esmond Bonnoitt, III of New York City, N. Y., and John McCormac Bonnoitt and his wife Roselle of Greenville; and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Marie Siau of Columbia. Mrs. McCormac was predeceased by: three brothers, William Thomas Rowell, Jr., Ervin Robert Rowell, and Horace Lorace Rowell; two sisters, Ruthalee R. Wallace and Isla Mae R. Williamson; and a grandson, Albert M. Bonnoitt. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, October 24, 2005, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev.
