Pawleys Island:
Marion Wilson Graham, 93, died Sunday, December 31, 2006, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.
Mr. Graham was born in Newberry, SC, on January 13, 1913, the son of the late Lonnie Munro Graham and Margaret C. Higgins Graham. He grew up in Newberry and was a graduate of Newberry High School and Newberry College. Mr. Graham served in the Army in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District. Mr. Graham moved to Pawleys Island in 1999.
Surviving are: his wife, Phyllis Morley Graham of Pawleys Island; four daughters, Janice K. Graham and her husband Michael D. Fallaw of Plano TX, Gail G. Roper and her husband Raymond E. Roper, Jr. and Carole A. Graham, all of Pawleys Island, and Linda J. Graham and her husband James A. McClanahan of Chapin SC; nephew F. David Graham, Jr. and his wife Judy Lindler Graham of Prosperity SC; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, January 4, 2007, at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Georgetown. Inurnment will follow in the mausoleum. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Leonhardt.
