Mark Anthony "Andy" Lambert, 59, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Lambert was born in Georgetown on March 15, 1950, a son of the late Sammy Lee Lambert and Bertha Neolia Hayes Lambert. He graduated from Winyah High School and attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College and Florence-Darling Technical College. Mr. Lambert was a former employee of Georgetown County Environmental Services.
Mr. Lambert was predeceased by two brothers: Louis Legare Lambert and Ernest Leroy Lambert, Sr.
Surviving are: a sister, Vicky E. Livingston of Georgetown; six nephews, Michael A. Livingston, Roger Lambert, Eugene Lambert, and Edward Lambert all of Georgetown, Ernest Leroy Lambert, Jr. of Hinesville, Ga., and Jason Lee Wrenn of Beaufort; two nieces, Sandra M. DeMonje of Washington, D. C. and Patti Stanley of Florence; two sister-in-laws, Sarah R. Lambert and Marlyn Jean Lambert, both of Georgetown; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and four great-great-nephews.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at two o'clock at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill.
The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
