Andrews: Mark Allen Knutson, 42, died Thursday, February 17, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown. Mr. Knutson was born in Rockford, Ill. on April 11, 1962, a son of Dolores S. Dunn and the late Gaylon Knutson. He grew up in Florida and Illinois, graduated from Newberry College, and attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia. Mr. Knutson moved to Andrews from Columbia five years ago. He was employed by Georgetown Auto Parts, Inc. and was a former employee of Hill Tire Center in Georgetown. Mr. Knutson was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Anna Maria, Fla., include: his wife, Melanie Ballentine Knutson of Andrews; a son, Joshua Robert Knutson of Andrews; three daughters, Melissa Anne Knutson, Sara Elizabeth Knutson, and Amanda Kelsey Knutson, all of Andrews; and a brother, David Knutson of Louisville, Ky. Memorial services will be two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, February 22, 2005, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas M. BeMiller.
