Martha Wheeler Scott, 81 of Garden City, SC entered eternal rest November 10, 2024 at Tidelands Georgetown Hospital.

Born July 9, 1943, she was the daughter of Willie Wheeler and Eva Player Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her husband Laurie L Scott, her mother and father Eva and Willie Wheeler, three sisters Wynona "Nonie" Wildes, Wanda Yow, and Rosie Thomas, two brothers Will Wheeler and Wayne Wheeler, and her grandson Daniel Altman.

She was a resident of Garden City, formerly of Andrews SC. Martha graduated from Williamsburg High School and then attended beauty school. She was a retired employee of the USPS where she worked as a rural letter carrier. She enjoyed traveling with her family, shopping, and eating out with her best friend Rose Rogers.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Lea Creel (Henry Creel), her granddaughter Caroline Judd (Steven Judd), her brother Tipton "Tippy" Wheeler (Geri Wheeler) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 in Georgetown. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Tisdale Cemetery in Kingstree, SC with Pastor Chuck Cribb officiating.
