Georgetown: Marvin Tracy Walker, 54, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Walker was born in Georgetown on November 22, 1961, a son of Rebecca Poole Walker and the late James Allen Walker, Sr. He grew up in Georgetown, graduated from Winyah High School and attended Horry Georgetown Technical College. Mr. Walker was the former owner of A & W Fencing Company. He loved horses and fishing. In addition to his father, Mr. Walker was predeceased by a step-son, Gary Wilhite. Surviving are: his mother of Georgetown; a step-daughter, Jeleah Wilhite (Wade Cooper) of Conway; two brothers, James A. Walker, Jr. (Gale) of Georgetown and Bruce A. Walker of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be three o'clock Friday afternoon, February 19, 2016, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be Elder Mike Goude. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from two until three.
