Mt. Pleasant: Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 1, 2008, Mary Miller Brown, widow of Carl Andrew Brown, in Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Brown was born on March 5, 1917 in Lafayette, Ind., daughter of the late Clyde Lane Miller and Mary Neff Miller. Mrs. Brown graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette and attended Purdue University. Mrs. Brown resided in Georgetown until 2005, where she was a long-time member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She will be greatly missed by her family, neighbors and friends. Mrs. Brown is survived by: her son, Carl M. Brown of Mt. Pleasant; her daughter, Cheryl Brown Page of Dumfries, Va. and her husband, Harry Anderson Page; her sister, Dorothy Selby of Downers Grove, Ill.; a grandson, David P. Brown of Charleston and his wife, Elise; a granddaughter, Mary Meghan Flynn of Dumfries, Va. and her husband, Patrick; a grandson, Carl J. Page of Dumfries, Va.; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be two o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 4, 2008, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Carl Richie. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
