Andrews:
Mary Catherine Gamble Cooper, 58, died Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Kingstree on April 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Julius Adam Gamble and Thelma Richburg Gamble. She grew up in the Suttons community of Williamsburg Co. Mrs. Cooper was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended Palmer Business College in Columbia. She worked at Winyah Home Health Care for a number of years and was currently employed at Manor House of Georgetown. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Suttons United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Biddy Club and served on various church committees.
Surviving are: her husband, John Benjamin Cooper of Andrews; two daughters, Leigha Cooper of Andrews and Joni Cooper of Columbia; son-in-law to be Klay Truluck of Columbia; a sister, Elaine G. Moore of Andrews; a brother, J. A. Gamble Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Columbia; two nieces, Elizabeth Moore Bourne and Torri Gamble; and three nephews, Chad Gamble, Dennis Ward, and Kevin Ward; and special grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2006, in Suttons United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Robert Huggins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at 211 S. Farr Ave. in Andrews. The family will also receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the funeral services.
