Pawleys Island: Mary Emma Wallace McCutchen, 68, wife of Robert "Bobby" McCutchen, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McCutchen was born June 1, 1952, in Fayetteville, NC, a daughter of the late John Barnwell Wallace and Helen Francis Rasmussen Wallace. Mary Emma was a bright light to many, her smile was contagious and was loved by all who new knew her. She was very devoted to her Bible Study Group "Women of the Word". Mary Emma had a great love for her community but most important in her life was her husband Bobby and her two sons, Russell and Jonathan and lets not forget "Maggie" her special friend.. There will be a great void in so many lives, the world was a better place with Mary Emma among us. In addition to her parents, Mary Emma was predeceased by: two in-laws, Willie David and Ethel McCutchen. Surviving are: her husband of Pawleys Island; two sons, Russell McCutchen and Jonathan McCutchen; a sister Kathy Mishoe (Marcus) her son, Nicholas his wife Jessica Mishoe; a brother, Jack Wallace (Lynn) and his son, Beau; and many many other extended relatives. Memorial Services will be two o'clock Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in All Saints Church, Pawleys Island.
