Andrews:
Mary Elizabeth Turner Freeman, 52, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Greenwood on September 29, 1956, a daughter of the late Jack Donald Turner and Evelyn Elizabeth Godwin Turner. She grew up in Greenwood and graduated from Ninety-Six High School. Mrs. Freeman lived in Andrews since 1973 and was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Oneita Industries and Kingstree Knits.
Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by: her step-mother, Eva Butler Turner; a brother, Kenneth Turner; and a step-brother, Bobby Butler.
Surviving are: her husband, Timmy Freeman of Andrews; two sons, Christopher (Cindy) Freeman and Clinton Freeman, both of Andrews; two brother, Donald Turner and Jack D. Turner, both of Greenwood; two step-sisters, Lucy Woodall of Saluda and Phyllis McManus of Greenwood.; and a granddaughter, Annaleigh Elizabeth Freeman of Andrews.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 2009, at Pine Crest Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas Moore, Rev. Regina Belue and Rev. Jeff Goude. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
