Pawleys Island:
Mary Anne Matheson Lindsay, 81, died Saturday, November 17, 2007, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mrs. Lindsay was born in Bennettsville on February 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Alexander Julian Matheson and Jessie Breeden Matheson. She grew up in Bennettsville and was a graduate of Bennettsville High School. Mrs. Lindsay worked for the City of Bennettsville for a number of years. She was a member of All Saints Church.
Mrs. Lindsay was predeceased by: a brother, Alexander J. Matheson; and three sisters, Gwendolyn M. Fowler, Ellen H. Cromartie, and Jessie M. Blackwell.
Surviving are: her husband of 65 years, Ross M. Lindsay, Jr. of Pawleys Island; a son, Ross M. Lindsay, III of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Anne L. Mincey of Georgetown; a sister, Patricia M. Morrison of Dunwoody, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Annelisa Lindsay, Laura Frances Lindsay, Ross M. Lindsay, IV, and Catharine Alexander Lindsay, all of Pawleys Island, Kenneth L. McQuage of Wesson, Miss., J. Walker McQuage of Charlotte, N.C., and Mary Ross McQuage of Charleston; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning, November 20, 2007, at eleven o'clock in All Saints Church, 3560 Kings River Road. Officiating will be the Rev. Terrell L. Glenn, the Rev. David Bryan, and the Rev. Thomas Brown. Burial will follow in All Saints Churchyard.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, November 19, 2007, from four until six o'clock at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
