Born on October 5, 1934, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Martha lived a full and vibrant life rooted in family, friendship, and community. She spent many years in Hopkins, South Carolina, before retiring to Pawleys Island, where she enjoyed the coastal life she loved.

She is survived by her son, Franklin B. Long, Jr. of Beaufort, South Carolina, and her daughter, Terri L. Price of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, along with her son-in-law, Steven W. Price. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren: Brittany Marie Long of Columbia, South Carolina; Ashton Elizabeth Price of San Francisco, California, and her husband, Patrick Ryan Cummings; and Steven Grant Price of St. Petersburg, Florida, and his wife, Taylor Stufflebeam Price. Martha was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Cameron James Price of St. Petersburg, Florida.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many friends who checked on her, offered support, and shared in her life over the years.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
