Louise lived in Georgetown all her life, married her high school sweetheart, and lived a 56 year love affair with Alfred before his death in 2001. Louise worked for many years for the Georgetown County Board of Education, but every day on her lunch hour could be found waiting tables at Thomas Café, that was owned by her parents for 56 years. She was a life-long member of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar Society and served on numerous committees. In her younger years, she was an avid golfer and a cut throat bridge player. Louise's love and dedication belonged with her family and friends, especially her husband, her children and grandchildren. She cared about and took care of her community. She was known for visiting and sending cards to all who were sick or were experiencing difficulties in their lives. She was always thinking about how to improve the life of others. During the last year of her life, Louise was lovingly cared for by Margaret Powell, Barbara Mathis, Peggy Ford and the wonderful women of Tidelands Hospice.
