Georgetown: Mary Margaret "Margie" Poole Miller, 87, widow of Warren McNeal Miller, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born on October 20, 1924 in Williamsburg Co., a daughter of the late John Carey Poole and Fannie Elizabeth Mobley Poole. She grew up in Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties and graduated from Winyah High School. Mrs. Miller was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are: a son, Robert Warren Miller (Robin) of Georgetown; three daughters, Carey L. Tanner, Melissa Miller, and Bonnie M. Mercer (Mark), all of Georgetown; a sister, Rebecca P. Walker of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Miller was predeceased by six brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be at two o'clock on Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2012, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be Branch President Dennis Price and Jimmy Holt. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, March 3, 2012, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from five until seven o'clock.
