Georgetown: Mary Elizabeth Lynch Ricks, 85, widow of Robert Ricks died April 20, 2021, at her residence. Mrs. Ricks was born in Hartford, CT on January 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Jack Lynch and Elinor Stewart Lynch. Mrs. Ricks grew up in Georgetown and attended Winyah High School. She later moved to Atlanta, GA and worked for The Silver Grill Restaurant on Peachtree Ave. for many years. Mrs. Ricks moved back to Georgetown to care for her parents and also cared for many others as this was her passion. She married Mr. Ricks and was happily married for over twenty years. She was a very caring wife, mother and grandmother and will surely be missed. Surviving are: a daughter, Carol McWilliams of Georgetown, two grandchildren, Charles E. Fowler of Georgetown and Windy Powell of Johnsonville, and a brother James E. Lynch of Georgetown. Memorial services will be private.
