Mary Phillips Roberts, 85, of Georgetown, South Carolina died on January 24, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center, Columbia, South Carolina.

Born October 29, 1939, in Sipsey, Alabama, she was the daughter of Frank L. and Eugenia B. Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 53 years, James F. Roberts.

Ms. Roberts graduated from Winyah High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. She had a passion for gardening and was a member of the Gardening Club. Ms. Roberts also loved traveling with her friends and family.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Mary Frances Lazzari (Phil) of Georgetown, SC and Jean Michelle Brklich (Jack) of Columbia, SC and two granddaughters, Mary Katherine Lazzari of Kings Beach, CA and Carolyn Lazzari Prisco (Matthew) of Liberty, SC. Also, one niece and nephew.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Dr. Ted Sherrill.
