Myrtle Beach: Mary Louise Thomas Sprouse, 87, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006, in Grand Strand Healthcare. Mrs. Sprouse was born on March 25, 1918, a daughter of Rosco Thomas and Mellie Sullivan Thomas. She grew up in Union and made her home in Spartanburg for many years, where she was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. She also lived in Florence before moving to the Myrtle Beach area. Mrs. Sprouse was predeceased by: her husband, Luther "Beauford" Sprouse, Sr.; and a son, Luther "Luke" B. Sprouse, Jr. Surviving are: a granddaughter, Renae Sprouse of Florence; a grandson, Tim A. Sprouse and his wife Tammy of Florence; a sister, Catherine Thomas of Pawley's Island; two great-grandchildren, Myra Anderson and Allan Wiggins; three great great-grandchildren; and a beloved niece, Carolynn T.
