Obituary

Murrells Inlet: Melvin S. Klein, 74, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Klein was born in Syracuse, N. Y. on November 3, 1933, a son of Rose Rosenstein Epstein Klein Robbins and the late Herbert Epstein. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois and earned a Masters in Computer Science from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, N. Y. He retired as president of a company that did private computer consulting for private industry and the military. Mr. Klein moved to Murrells Inlet from New Jersey three years ago. He was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church in Georgetown. Surviving are: his wife, Nancy Pulaski Klein of Murrells Inlet; a son, Kevin Klein and his wife Kennon of Pacific Palisades, Calif.; a daughter, Stephanie Wolford and her husband Jeff of Chicago, Ill.; his mother of Boca Raton, Fla.; a half-brother, Philip Klein of Boca Raton, Fla.; and a half-sister, Ellen Klein of Boca Raton, Fla. Memorial services will at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, 901 Highmarket Street in Georgetown at three o'clock Sunday, April 20, 2008. Sign a guest book at www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
