She loved each member of her family with a tremendous and unconditional devotion, was always ready with a listening ear and a comforting word, and played a crucial role in each of their lives. Mrs. Schofield charmed everyone she met with her wit, her sense of humor, and her enthusiasm for life. She loved all her children and grandchildren unconditionally. Mrs. Schofield had a firm, devoted faith in God which she joyfully shared with others, especially her children, whose faith in God she helped strengthen and nurture through word and deed alike. Mrs. Schofield met everything and everyone in her life with a positive outlook, and her faith in God and other people never flagged. We would like to thank the caregivers at First Light Home Care and Tidelands Community Hospice, and the attentive workers at The Lakes at Litchfield. We especially wish to thank and acknowledge her most beloved caregiver, Cherise Knowlin, without whom none of us could have functioned. She was an integral part of our mother's life for many years. Her loving care and devotion kept our mother going for as long as she did. For this we are eternally grateful.
