Georgetown:
Miller N. Sullivan, 87, widow of William Dewey Sullivan, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Wilmington, N. C. on October 24, 1923. She worked with WGTN Radio for a time and was part owner of B&M Machine and Welding. Mrs. Sullivan was also a Realtor with Century 21 Grimes & Associates until she was 80. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a founding member of the Georgetown County Republican Party.
Surviving are: five daughters, Sandra Ricks, Anne Tiller, Eileen Johnson (Happy), Kathryn Harrelson (Jamie) and Robin Avant (Joey); a son, William "Bill" D. Sullivan, Jr. (Sheila); twelve grandchildren, Robert E. Ricks, Jr., Jeff Ricks, Rob Tiller, Reid Tiller, Kelley Johnson, Amy Mitchell, Kim Forbes, Seth Sullivan, Sabrina Sullivan, Katie Avant, Caroline Avant, and Holly Avant; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be ten o'clock Friday morning, July 22, 2011, at the graveside in McClellanville United Methodist Cemetery in McClellanville. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill.
The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Thursday evening, July 21, 2011, from six until eight.
