Pawleys Island: Mona Clemons Talley, 74, died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. Mona was born in Georgetown on May 31, 1940, a daughter of the late Jackson Earl Clemons, Sr. and Constance "Connie" Moore Clemons. She grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. Mona lived in many places prior to returning home to Pawleys Island to live. Surviving are: two sons, Marty E. Talley of Longview, Wash. and Tony Talley (Nickie) of Andrews; a daughter, Lisa Dunlow (James) of Windsor, N.C.; three grandchildren; Dillon Talley, Dusty Matthews, and Miranda Hoggard; a sister, Carol C. Cooper of Pawleys Island; a brother, Jackson E. Clemons, Jr. (Tracy) of Pawleys Island; and a number of nieces and nephews. Arrangements will be private.
