Nancy Hunt Shull, 71, of Georgetown, SC died May 26, 2024, at home in Georgetown.

Born February 18, 1953 in Albemarle, NC, she was the daughter of Matthew Patrick Hunt and Lucy Roselle Brooks Hunt. She was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, many uncles, aunts, cousins, a beloved nephew Alex Yearick, and a beloved grandson Matthew Wolf Shull.

Nancy was a church choir and youth leader, private school chorus/drama director, Georgetown County public school teacher for many years, and finally a tour operator and owner of Coach Tours, Inc. for 32 years.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Roger Shull, daughter Bonnie Okwei, son Hunter Shull, grandson Gavyn Kopcho, sister Ileen Miller and her husband Rodney Miller, brother Patrick Hunt and his wife Terry Hunt, and a large extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maryville. The interment will be in Oakboro, NC.

In  lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Habitat for Humanity .

The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
