Georgetown: Nellie Grace Barron Jones, 90, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Westbury Health and Rehabilitation Center in Conyers, Ga. Mrs. Jones was born in Gainesville, Ga. on April 22, 1920, a daughter of the late Delos Herman Barron and Rosa Estelle Hughes Barron. She and her late husband, Marshall Lamar Jones, founded Winyah Extended Care in the early 1960's. Mrs. Jones was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Jones is survived by a daughter, Edith Jolly of Covington, Ga. She was predeceased by a daughter, Karen Dent. Funeral services will be at one o'clock on Friday afternoon, January 14, 2011, at First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. Burial will follow at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Friday prior to the service from twelve until one o'clock.
