Obituary for Foster Durham Clowney, Jr.

Georgetown:
Foster Durham Clowney, Jr., 67, Technical Sergeant, Ret., died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Mr. Clowney was born in Georgetown on February 25, 1951, the son of Katherine Stevens Clowney and the late Foster Durham Clowney. He grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Mr. Clowney retired after over twenty years service in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #644 and American Legion Post #114.
Surviving are: his mother of Georgetown; a sister, Nancy Clowney Young (Max) of Gilbert; a nephew, Ryan Stevens Young of Gilbert; a niece, Julia Katherine Huff (Larry) of Lexington; a great-nephew, Samuel Max Young of Gilbert;; and great-nieces, Aurie Katherine and Emary Elizabeth Huff, both of Lexington.
The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from three until five o’clock. Interment in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens will be private.
