Andrews:
Rev. Oscar Lenwood Tedder, 69, died Friday, December 5, 2003, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Rev. Tedder was born in Florence County on September 2, 1934, a son of the late Wylie Ambrose Tedder and Annie Bell Floyd Tedder. He grew up in Florence County and was a Free Will Baptist Minister for forty years. Rev. Tedder served in a number of different churches, until he became disabled. He was also employed by the S. C. Dept. of Education as a school bus maintenance foreman and retired after thirty years employment. Rev. Tedder was a member of Happy Home Original Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Iva Nell Casselman Tedder of Andrews; two sons, Ronnie Tedder and Dean Tedder, both of Andrews; three brothers, Marion Tedder of Andrews and Norwood Tedder and Charlie Tedder, both of Phoenix, Ariz; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Rev. Tedder was predeceased by: a brother, Harold Tedder and a sister, Elizabeth Floyd.
Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2003 at three o'clock at Happy Home Original Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Joe Cagle, the Rev. Andrew Gleason, and the Rev. John H. Alford. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Cemetery.
