Andrews:
Otto Oneal Bone, 72, husband of the late Carol Lane Bone, died Monday, July 31, 2017, at the SC Medical University Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Bone was born in Georgetown on March 9, 1945, a son of the late LeRoy Wilson Bone and Sarah Edna Ward Bone. He grew up in the Sampit Community of Georgetown County and attended Andrews High School. Mr. Bone served in the SC Army National Guard and was owner and operator of Bone Pulpwood, Inc. Mr. Bone was a longtime member of Sampit United Methodist Church. He loved to fish and travel to as many National Forests as possible and to the mountains. Mr. Bone was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bone was predeceased by: a daughter, Monica Carol Bone; a grandson, Zane Ryan Howard; three brothers, Jimmy, Hubert and R. L. Bone; and a sister Thelma Bone Altman.
Surviving are: a son, Roy Bone (Betty) of Andrews; two daughters, Monica West (Adman) and Shannon Bone both of Andrews; a two brothers, Rocky Bone of Georgetown; and Ricky Bone of Pawleys Island; a sister, Eva Mae Overby of Georgetown; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, August 3, 2017, at Sampit United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Mary Green. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from six until eight Wednesday evening, August 2, 2017, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
