Andrews:
Otto Eugene Nesbitt, Sr., 84, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Nesbitt was born in Cheraw on June 28, 1923, a son of the late Major Braxton Nesbitt and Minnie Lee Casselman Nesbitt. He served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II. Mr. Nesbitt retired from the Container Division of International Paper Company where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Lena Connelly Nesbitt of Andrews; three sons, Otto E. "Buster" Nesbitt, Jr., Julius B. "Butch" Nesbitt and Richard M. Nesbitt, all of Andrews; two daughters, Debra A. Hobgood and Julie J. Clark, both of Andrews; two brothers, Clyde Nesbitt of Pansey, Ala. and Francis Nesbitt of Moncks Corner; a sister, Catherine Johnson of Greenville; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Nesbitt was predeceased by two sons, Steven Mitchell Nesbitt and Timothy Eric Nesbitt.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 29, 2007, at Bethel United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Eubanks and the Rev. Bruce Adams. Burial will follow in the Churchyard.
