Georgetown: Pamela Beal Winter, 68, died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Winter was born November 15, 1943, in Dallas Tex., the daughter of the late Harold Francis Beal, Jr. and Doris Nebel Beal. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended Barry University. Mrs. Winter retired after 23 years from The Department of Social Services in Georgetown. Surviving are: a son, Horace Garner Winter of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Doris Victoria Winter of Banner Elk, NC; a brother, Harold Francis Beal, III of Rockport, TN; a sister, Deborah Beal Thomas (William) of Georgetown; a grandson, Harold MacKenzie Winter of Pawleys Island; one nephew; and three nieces. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from five until seven o'clock.
