Georgetown:

Pansy Lynn Poston Langston, 69, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Georgetown, daughter of the late William Spencer McKever Poston and Betty Goodman Poston.

Pansy was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church, enjoyed going out to eat and tending to the elderly. She loved working in her yard, making others laugh, and mostly loved her family.

She is survived by three children; Mariah Ray and Trell Poston, both of Georgetown and Travis Ethridge of Florence; six grandchildren, Schyler Ray, Jackson Cagle, Kaylee Phillips, Camden Phillips, Allen Britt, and McKever Poston; one sister, Debbie Cusack Wyndham of Georgetown; three nieces, Daphne Westbrooks, Leslie Tyler of Georgetown and Tammie Berry of Pawleys Island; four nephews, Spencer Poston, Trey Berry and James Cusack, all of Georgetown, and Jamie Berry of Pawleys Island; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Gregory Alex Phillips; one sister, Marilyn Berry; one brother, Larry Spencer Poston; and one niece, Melissa Wilson.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, burial will follow in cemetery.

The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
