Georgetown:
Patricia "Pat" Collins Love, 70, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Love was born in Marion on December 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Hubert Collins and Imer Pulley Collins. She grew up in Marion and graduated from Marion High School. Mrs. Love retired from the Clerk of Courts Office of Georgetown County after 20 years of service. She was a member of Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church and the Annie Lou Mozley Circle of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Love was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are: her husband, T. Avery Love of Georgetown; five daughters, Kim Cooper (Ronald Jordan), Brandy Windham (Cecil), and Kristina Morris (Richard), all of Georgetown, and Celeste James (Bill Liner) and Kelly Thorvalson (Mike), both of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Jackson Morris, Sierra, Kaylie, and Brendan Windham, Tiffany Cooper, and Kelsey and Rigby Thorvalson; a great-grandchild, Dayton Stamey, Jr.; two sisters, Dot Rhames of Spartanburg and Jean Cook of Marion; a sister-in-law, Shirley Collins of Murrells Inlet; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at three o'clock on Saturday afternoon, September 20, 2014, at Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Marie Knuckles. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday in the Church Fellowship Hall from two until three o'clock.
