IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Wesley
Young
January 21, 1950 – February 23, 2025
Aynor
Paul Wesley Young, 75, of Aynor, South Carolina died on February 23, 2025, at his home.
Born January 21, 1950, in Georgetown, South Carolina, he was the son of Charlotte Henrietta West. He was preceded in death by his mama, Charlotte (Coonie), his father, Simon James Young, and his siblings, Edwin Young, Barbara Hyman, Vela Rowe, and Randy Young.
Wesley honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He spent countless years working in construction of all kinds and was a master of all things. After retirement, he enjoyed living by both of his daughters and their families immensely.
We girls have lost one of the greatest loves we've ever known, our precious and perfect to us daddy, Paul Wesley Young. We are heartbroken unimaginably but not without hope. We KNOW where our daddy is, in Heaven for all eternity with Jesus. He was truly the best daddy. He loved us with everything he had. We both are who we are because God blessed us with him. He was the best father-in-law and loved his two son in laws as much as us girls. He was the best papa and all his grandchildren knew it from the moment we laid them in his arms until this very day. He was a father to the fatherless. Colby, you were his son in every sense of the word. His smile and laugh lit up our whole world because he was our world. EVERYONE loved him because everyone felt so loved by him. Every time we looked at our daddy we saw Jesus. He was a man of deep faith and unwavering integrity. He always kept his word. We could trust him and count on him. He loved cowboy boots and hats, fishing, camping, Yauhannah, building anything, gardening, drinking black coffee out of the same cup, worshipping Jesus with both his hands raised toward Heaven, and studying God's word and praying constantly. We are so lost without him, but we WILL see him again.
Wesley is survived by his oldest daughter, Amanda Young Benton of Conway, South Carolina, his son in law, Autry and his six grandchildren, KeithAutry, Ashley, Gracie, Taylor, Eden, and Lawson Young, and his two great grandsons, Kohen and Kade. He is also survived by his youngest daughter, Charity Elizabeth Young Carroll of Aynor, South Carolina, his son in law, Richard and his two grandchildren, Garrison West and Lainey. He is also survived by his son Colby Henderson, his wife Brittany and his grandson, Samuel Wesley. He is also survived by his older sister Liz Kirk and her husband Pat as well as his sister-in-law, Janie Young. He is also survived by his large extended family as well as every single person he ever loved.
