Georgetown:
Peggy Yaun Ford, 75, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Ford was born in Darlington on February 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Luther Bunyan Yaun and Ruth Flowers Yaun. She lived most of her life in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah High School and a member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Ford was predeceased by: her husbands, William Porter Ford and Clifford Delmaine Parsons, Jr.; and a daughter, Jean Ford Colwell.
Surviving are: a son, Cliff Parsons of Columbia; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Parsons of Georgetown and Jessie Carolyn Ford of Columbia; two brothers, Luther B. Yaun, Jr. of Greensboro, N. C. and Ralph O. Yaun of Leland, N. C.; a sister, Julia Ann Y. Stalvey of Georgetown; and three grandchildren, Amanda Parsons Cook of Greensboro, N. C., Ryan P. Parsons and Blakely C. Parsons, both of Columbia.
Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, January 11, 2005, in Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. E. Thomas Miller. . Sign a guest book at www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
