Pawley's Island: Peggy Ann Daniel Tallevast, 75, died Monday, January 11, 2016, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. She has gone to join her beloved husband "Tally", Lt. Col. Cecil John Tallevast, Jr. Mrs. Tallevast was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on December 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Henry Alex Daniel and Mary Margaret Miller Daniel. She was a former employee of International Paper Company. Mrs. Tallevast and her husband lived in Pawleys Island for many years. Surviving are; two daughters, Renee Tallevast of Edgewater, Florida and Colette McMurray (Charles) of Sneads Ferry, N. C.; a son-in-law, Steven M. Frazier (Lynne) of Pinehurst, N. C.; a grandson, Sean Alexander Frazier (Meredith) of High Point, N. C.; two granddaughters, Kelly Meidl (John) of Raleigh, N.C. and Becky Fields (Corey) of Pawleys Island; two great-grandchildren, Cecilia Meidl and Lyla Fields; a sister, Bonnie D. Bailey of Forest, Virginia; two nephews, Michael Wayne Bailey of Cummings, Georgia and Brian Scott Bailey (Carrie); and great nieces, Julia, Peyton, Samantha, and Annabelle Bailey.
