Perrin Cranford "P.C." Bryant, 73, husband of Patricia Ann Thompson Bryant, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Bryant was born in Birmingham on New Year's Day, 1941, son of the late Philip Nelson Bryant and Alice Mildred Cranford Bryant. He was a graduate of Auburn University. Mr. Bryant flew C-141 transport aircraft in and out of Vietnam from 1964-1968 while stationed at Charleston, SC AFB and flew the RF-4C Phantom Jet for the Alabama Air National Guard from 1972-1992 and retired as a Lt. Col. He flew for South Trust Bank of Birmingham from 1976-2001, retiring as Chief Pilot. Mr. Bryant moved to Georgetown in 2004 and was a communicant of All Saints Church in Pawleys Island, SC.
In addition to his wife of Georgetown, surviving are: a son, Perrin C. Bryant, II (Tracy) of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Ann B. White (Jeffrey) of Annapolis, Md., Susan L. Kendrick (Justin) of Spartanburg, SC, and Samantha B. Mohlenhoff (Trevor) of Wilmington, N.C.; and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at ten-thirty o'clock Friday morning, October 31, 2014, at the graveside in All Saints Cemetery at Pawleys Island. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert L. Grafe. A reception will follow in the ACTS building of the church immediately following the service.
