Georgetown: Ralph John Hansen, Sr., 95, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at National Health Care, Garden City, S. C. Ralph was born August 15, 1923 in Oak Harbor, OH to Awalt and Margurite Hansen. On January 20, 1945 he married Ruth Alford and celebrated 70 years of marriage. He was retired from International Paper Company and served on the board of the Georgetown Kraft Credit Union. Mr. Hanson was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ralph is survived by his children; Ralph (Linda) Hansen, Jr. of Savannah, GA and Teresa (T. D.) Powell of Santee, SC; sisters; Martha Jamie of Lorain, OH and Tony Behlmer of Rocky Ridge, OH; grandchildren; Roslyn (Scott) Woerhman, Chris Hansen, John Hansen III, Christine Powell and Angel (Mel) Ball; great-granddaughters; Madeline Woerhman and Hansen Ball. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Marie Fastzkie and Margaret Scherf; brothers, Fritz, Carl, Walt, Martin, Marvin and Rolland Hansen. Graveside funeral services will be Friday morning, September 28, 2018, at eleven o'clock in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
