Raymond "Ray" Basil Lambert, 60, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Prince George Healthcare Center. He was born August 5, 1962, in Georgetown, a son of Elizabeth Lambert and the late Basil Lambert.

Ray was a US Navy veteran, serving for over 10 years. He then used the skills he learned in the Navy and was an aircraft mechanic for Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC from 1992-2002.

In addition to his mother, Elizabeth, of Georgetown, he is survived by two sisters, Robin R. Lambert of Georgetown and Regina Yonke of Moncks Corner; one brother, Regan Lambert of Georgetown; and 3 nieces, Danielle, Lori, and Kaitlyn.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Basil Leon Lambert; one niece, Tabitha Hanna; and his brother-in-law, Michael Yonke of Moncks Corner.

Graveside services was changed to Screven Baptist Church due to inclement weather. Services at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Screven Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Jamie Harrelson.

Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home & Crematory of Georgetown has been entrusted with Ray's final care.
